"My Worries and Needs"
Go back
Uncle, Uncle, Uncle
I need job, I have pain, I am worried there's no gain
Sister, Sister, Sister
I love days I get paid, but these bills don't go away
Auntie, Auntie, Auntie
I wat to fish, but there's a hunch, like a virus bunch
Nephew, Nephew, Nephew
I have pains, I have a wish, I write like star, because I have a gift
Father, Father, Father
I need to be guided, but I am astray, though you are distant, not too far away
I need money for my life tools, girlfriends, clothing, groceries food
In really bad weather, sickness abroad, lurks in humans, cats, and dogs
No I won't run, I believe in my GOD, Nurses, Doctors, Angels, these logs
In need of riches, a wife, some more plants, moving through towns with ants in my pants
Worries for health, will we make it through
The family, our friends, the government too
In need of credit, a pole for a fish
As I try to buy these things, more problems adrift
The silence in night, the loudness of day, the crowded in work places, the signs make us prey
I need of more wisdom, more science, clean air
In need of more pastor, in need of more prayer
I want for the more of things, the crafty, the honorable
If I had a correct path that was human, I follow through
Not in fear of, In fear of my houghts, the way that I laugh, the way that I talk
Mother, Mother, Mother
Ohh what shall the family do
Some of us sickly, lonely, and blue
I think how I feel, and act as I should
Worry for things I don't do, and things that I would
Cousin, Cousin, Cousin
Ohh Cuz
Were you that little lamp I had, that shined upon thugs
Thump, Thump, Biff, Baff
Im caught if the hazy dreams, drowned by my past
Problems like hills, or mountains and such
Dry to the fingertips, true to the touch
Some of us strong, in need of the faith
Some of befriended, some us cannot wait
In need of good memory, information that's true
Tired of the lies, the stories untrue
My worries, My needs
There all in a bunch
Wish I could just fix them
Fix them - all at once
