How to clean the Bathroom

Go Back

My mother always asks me to clean the bathroom every day of the week. If it wasn't for her being disabled, she would do it herself. She also makes any little spec a scene. Recently, she asked me to tell her how I clean the bathroom from start to finish. This is what would make her feel as though I did the job right. To clean the bathroom, this involves a simple and easy process. You will need a pair of disposable gloves, Pine Sol, bleach, rag, mop, mop bucket, Fabuluso, Windex bottle, SOS pads, a broom, a sponge, and toilet bowl cleaner.

Beginning Steps

To get started you will need to remove the rugs from under the toilet seat and by the bathtub. This will help you to get all the dirt and grime associated with the bathroom floor. Next, you will need to remove the shower curtain and any other items in the way. You will need to raise the toilet seat. This will enable you to see all the dirt on the toilet and around the brim. Set the broom and mop aside. Run hot water into the mop bucket and set that aside. This is a good option for those who ring the mop with their hands. This will stop you from being scalded from the hot water. However, you will need disposable gloves to ring the mop. Furthermore, you will need to run hot water into the bathtub and set the sponge inside. This will be used for wiping the areas around the bathroom walls. It's equally important to put the toilet bowl cleaner inside the toilet bowl and let it sit. You don't want to get a nasty compliment on your work; you want it to be perfectly cleaned in and out.

Cleaning up

Now you are ready to start cleaning up. You will need to fill the empty Windex bottle with pine sol, and cold water. Next, start to spray the sink down with the solution to clean the sink areas. At the same time, clean away the dirt and germs until clean. Most important, you need to spray around the toilet bowl. However, under the toilet bowl wipe away the solution with the sponge. In turn, you will need to grab the SOS pad in the tub and start to wash the walls with it. Now, you must let the SOS solution sit for at least 40 minutes to get inside the cracks of the shower walls. Once the times is up, run cold water and grab the sponge and clean away the SOS solution. Next, grab the broom and begin to sweep up all the dirt. You cannot mop without getting all the dirt off the bathroom floor. Lastly, grab the mop bucket and pour in the fabuluso and mop the floor. This will go over what you missed and all the sticky areas of the floor. Now you are finished let the areas dry and make sure you got everything.

Replacement Time

Last, grab some clean rugs for the bathroom floor. You cannot use the same rugs that you previously had before. This would be unsanitary. Place the rugs where they were before, and get ready to replace all the bathroom utensils such as the soap, tissue, towels, and cosmetics. Next, you need to replace the shower curtain. Now, remove all the cleaning utensils from the bathroom. Remove the mop bucket and the broom and place them in a closet. Finally, you will need to flush the toilet and this will clean the inside of the toilet bowl. This will turn out to be a good job if you do this right.

Discussion/Conclusion

"Alright", now you are done. The bathroom was cleaned from the bottom up, and all the dirt and germs have been cleaned away. All I used was some Fabuluso, Pine Sol, disposable gloves, SOS pads, a rag, a mop, a mop bucket, and a sponge and toilet bowl cleaner. Now you have learned to clean a bathroom from bottom up within an hour or two. If I can clean a bathroom from bottom up, so can you. Clean the bathroom with your own time limits to make your family and friends happy about the work you put into it. After seeing the bathroom, they will compliment you by saying that bathroom is spotless, and it smells great!
