I think Windows is popular today because you get a lot more features than the older version of windows like, video, advanced applications, embeddeded gaming software that's already installed, cloud based storage features that are embedded in the operating system, more freedom to share files and photos, enhanced graphics, media software, a lot more storage features and last, the Windows come with security like Norton Anti Virus and automatic updates. With all these new features at the tips of our fingertips makes Windows a very good software to buy. Yes, it's a good idea to update to a newer software, because there could be a new feature or some setbacks with the old windows that the newer windows has to offer. Also, if there's a feature that doesn't come with the older version, then the newer version will have it. As long as you can upgrade your previous version to help you better the way you browse and use your windows, an update will be the best way to go.
