The massive habit that beheads all age groups, is drugs the number one killer, habit and friend that never leaves your side, constantly growing into a bigger problem every day the more it is used. Will drugs always be a problem? Most can say no to this question, but how many will say yes? No matter how drugs are looked at, the highs and lows of drug usage will always have a high rated effect on society, and continue to be a problem in all areas of youth. Drugs are highly renowned as a killer or substance known to destroy people's lives. Drugs come in many different forms and can be controlled in many different ways like rehabilitation, drug counseling, dare programs and family support. The results from using these rehabilitation procedures can be shocking and stop many people from using drugs.
Following the problem with drugs further, the United States was affected with a big drug activity leaving a large amount of its population enthralled by drug use. In 2006, children along with teens were very active with drug use. This meant there were a lot of children including teens using marijuana in United States alone (Leonhart, 2011). The percentages were high, causing drug abuse to only get worse. This is why the need for rehabilitation is needed in educational facilities also, the more this problem continues, the more help will be needed. While looking for more effective ways to stop drug abuse, rehabilitation and drug abuse programs will create new options that will enlighten paths for success in bringing this problem to a close. All that is needed is cooperation from the communities and the youth to work together so changes can be made.
In addition, the effect of drugs had a 23.5 percent drug use impact on college students. The age for these adults ranged from 18 to 22. The percentage for adults who were 26 or older was, 6.6 percent for drug use (Barker, 2011). Educational facilities had problems with students using drugs, and also problems with stopping them from enticing others to do so. Those over the age of 26 would impact this a great deal, because they are the ones who persuade the younger youth to do so, and by this happening this problem continued to have a devastating effect on educational facilities. Most of these adults used hard drugs to get high and relieve stress from school and the reason for these percentages being so high for drug use was due to drugs being sold inside the educational facilities by the older students who used them. Many became a constant user by using drugs to cope with reality, and did not realize they were developing a nasty habit that is hard to kick.
Moreover, the effects of drugs can cause problems with the human body. Drugs have short term effects, and these effects cause problems with the human brain and judgments, sometimes resulting in the wrong decisions to be made. The long term effects of drugs cause heart problems and strokes, which can result in death and the effects of drugs on the human body cause mental damage, and also they are used to alter the feelings of the user (NIAAA, 2014). Drugs can destroy a healthy life or cause long term effects that render everyday living, by people using drugs to cope with day to day problems. Trying to cope with drugs can be hard to do, especially if the user has a constant need for drugs. Drug abuse can be fixed, and only takes some time and rehabilitation procedures to take an effect on the users life. Once the user takes a step in trying to stop drug use, they will be able to change their ways and kick their habit if they continue to try and stop using drugs.
As a consequence, drugs can result in death. Drug abuse is a major problem in United States, and destroys people lives in the millions (T, 2014). Drugs can affect judgment, or they can also change behavior, and most crime related deaths come from drug use. The involvement of drugs in someone's life who does not understand what they are using a drug for, can result in death. Almost 99 percent of drug related deaths are due to an overdose (Warner M, 2011). Trying a drug for the first time can cause death, due to devastating short term effects that cause the heart to stop, or freeze (Warner M, 2011). Drug abuse can be scary and adventurous, but who knows what is in the future for drug abuse?
On the whole, the options for United States to stop drug abuse are based solely upon rehabilitation. Rehabilitation is a procedure that a patient goes through until they recover and go back to normal ways. This keeps them away from drugs on a 24hr basis, allowing them to regain health while learning to say no. The second option would be drug counseling for those who are prone to drugs and need guidance. This teaches them to face reality and learn ways to cope without drugs, in a positive way. The third option would be family support, and this gives the patient self-esteem, and also teaches them recovery strategies from family support. The last option would be, dare programs for the younger youth, which teaches them to say no to drugs.
The future with drug use in United States relies on the government. All areas need a strong official to guide them with rules and regulations, meaning only the government can make laws and act upon them (Dr.GooberPlan, 2014). A powerful program that knowledge's and understands drug use 100 percent, so that effective changes can be made without second hand revisions, will be the best choice to go with in stopping drug abuse. This will map a path for United Sates to break the ice with drug use meaning, United States will make a change in the illegal actions of drug abuse. The use of Government Partnership Acts (GPA) generates a group of people who oppose drug use. These people will shape and craft new solutions for United States, and also try new ways in stooping drug use and make suggestions for changes within the community. Maybe changes will occur, and maybe they will not, but only time can tell.
To be brief, it is best to start analyzing here on what the high risks for death are. The more people that are lost to drug abuse, the weaker United States will be in generating a solution. That smarter the plan, the better the outcome for declining the risk for drug abuse. The plan will make changes and begin to take effect on the people who use drugs. However, this can be achieved with a good team and strong plan. Constant changes can come from anywhere if you plan solutions correctly. Also, building a relationship with the public on drug abuse is also a way to decline the use of drugs too.
Drug abuse differs from person to person, and not everyone has the same reason for using drugs. Some of the main reasons why people use drugs and their addiction are different because of a family history of addiction, to make an effort to improve athletic performance, or to ease problems such as stress, anxiety or depression (Drug Abuse and Addiction, 2014). By people using drugs for these problems and needing them when they occur, may be a sign of addiction problems and they will soon need help for this addiction problem. When addiction arises it is best to try and stop using drugs, because they can destroy your life the more they are used. (Drug Abuse and Addiction, 2014). These problems can sometimes sneak up on a person and by them needing to rely on it, and may cause an increased need resulting in an addiction problem. But, with the right support, a person can counteract the disruptive effects and regain control over their life. Some things that can be done are realizing there is a drug problem and admitting to it.
In conclusion, this knowledge will inform people of what drugs can do to a person's life. You never know what the future holds when a change is made. In the future, due to United States organizing rehabilitation procedures, drugs will be easier to recover from and lots of people will be educated about drugs. This will affect our daily lives by changing the ways that drugs are used, and by paving a better way to cope with drug problems. Rehabilitation is important to life, because it changes the lives of many and helps them to recover from serious problem. Drug use is like maggots on trash, and there is a time limit before things get worse or start to change. Only time will show the results for changes and until then, hope for the best outcomes and deal with problems as they come.
