Pythagorean Theorem= a^2 + b^2= c^2 is what I will use for my calculations.

width = 52 inches 1/8 inch wide (52.125)

Length = 40 inches 2/8 inch wide (40.25)

52.125 * 52.125 + 40.25 * 40.25 = c^2

2717.016 + 1620.063 = c^2

4337.079 = c^2

C = 66.86

From my calculations the diagonal measurements were the same as the others, this is a good technique to use for finding the diagonal measurements of a TV or anything.
