I myself say that Disaster Recovery is the most important part of the network design, this is what will keep the servers, computers, business partners, cost effectiveness, and the business life cycle running at 100%. Without a Disaster Recovery, a business is just waiting to fall in the wind to the next possible problem, and as long as you have what is needed to implement a new plan to recover from that disaster, the business will always spring right back up. The employees, software and devices, always need backup, and the software needs to stay up to date, order for the system top be compatible with other computers and devices that use their network to transfer information. Life Cycle, a key word, will keep everyone and all the devices used running current applications and keep all the employees on the same page. This is why I say Disaster Recovery, is the most important aspect of a network design; think of the network design as being a brand new car; what will happen when it breaks down, and how will you pay to have that car fixed, but with a Disaster Recovery like an account for that car, or a savings plan, this will keep the driver in the clear, and reliable as the city bus. Think of Disaster Recovery as a medicine to all business needs.
