The server operating system that I wold use for my server farm would be,Windows Embedded Standard 2009. The reason why I would use it is because, it's a powerful, reliable, and component based operating system, that makes it easy to connect devices that will be used for RLMI Imaging offices and workstations. The software also provides application services and end user experiences that are hard to resist, especially when the end user experience it what the users need to know, to make a substantial decision to the expansion of the software and the business. Another reason why is because the operating supports, Windows Server 2003, 2008, Windows Vista, and Windows XP, and Windows XP is what will be used for the workstations. Overall, it only requires 512 MB of ram, and 1GHZ for the CPU so that the operating system will function. This will make RLMI expandable and easy to manage with this type of software being used in the system. Since large loads of information is not being transferred in large amounts the system will function with 100% performance.
