LAN’s do increase the efficiency of local arear networks, it provides more bandwidth solutions and also it makes the network larger as more users are needed. LAN’s also make resources more sharable, and expands the connections that are needed for computers to be connected to the network. Without a LAN, an organization would not be able to expand its network, without problem from the network topology, LAN’s provide an efficient low costing way to provide connections to multiple computers. Applications and data storage can be provided to all its users with efficient speed. So an organization would have more efficient use especially if they use a LAN switch to enlarge the network.
