Introduction to Information Security

One physical security solution to me would be the use of Cisco Video Surveillance IP Cameras, because they provide security and are used in many different environments for security. They also come in wireless or wired, and they support different operating systems and can be helpful for many different security systems. These cameras are very light weight, and come in compact sizes that you can hide in high areas. They also zoom in from far away and have night vision to see in the darker areas that are being secured. This type of solution would be used for monitoring buildings, homes, businesses and pretty much whatever you want to monitor and secure. These cameras also provide good protection, and are cheap to buy so that people can afford them that need them, and the physical side of installing them is easy. This type of solution would be used to protect companies that need surveillance like shopping stores, malls, tech shops, and places that have lots of traffic from the public. It would also protect programs that are used by a system that need to be monitored like a program used for retinal scanners, clocking into a government controlled facility. This will also protect the personnel that a business or facility has, like making sure they make it to their cars, in and out of the building, and also to make sure that it is their personnel that is entering the building. This secures the inside and outside of a building or facility that uses these cameras and records every motion and has motion sensors that will detect motion and trigger alarms that you can set to go off when motion occurs under the camera. This solution will also protect events like school parties, big public speeches, small concerts, public speeches and more from being interrupted by intruders or interrupted by people who attend the events.
