For this answer I am going to have to say yes. The reason why I say this is because ACL, is universal, and is known as a bunch of statements that help to define the profile of the network. With this being known, I am sure it can cover the whole network.
Facts
· Allows settings with all the connections, and it doesn’t process any packets.
· Can be configured by NAT, SLB, ACE, and more.
· All works can be managed with 2 ACL’s.
· Enter Type – this designates non-IP traffic on the network.
· Extended – which designates non IP traffic on the network?
· By type ACL can tell the sources of the traffic from the IP’s that is defines with protocols, UDP, ICMP, and IMCP. So, it pretty much secures all areas on the network with ease. Overall, using all of this, you should be able to secure the whole network that you operate and watch.
